| Introduction | Marissa Haugh's path has been anything but ordinary. With a career spanning child development, hospital-based family support, and nutrition coaching, she has shown how knowledge and compassion can be applied in many ways. Her work, grounded in years of study and professional practice, demonstrates a lasting commitment to guiding others toward healthier, more fulfilling lives. Her educational background gave her the tools to build such a varied career. After completing high school, Marissa attended the University of Rhode Island, earning a Bachelor of Science in Human Development and Family Studies. This degree gave her a solid understanding of human development across the lifespan. She later added a Certificate in Fine Arts and Foundation from Parsons’ School of Design in 2001, which allowed her to explore her creative interests. In 2003, she completed a Master of Science in Child Life at Bank Street College, preparing her to support children and families in healthcare environments. |
