Under the Oaks
| Introduction | Our family lives in a beautiful area with oak filled woods including our very own back yard. A proverb says, “Mighty oaks from little acorns grow.” We feel that raising our family is like cultivating a young acorn that develops into a tall strong oak tree known for its endurance. We strive to try reach for the sun and stars together by nourishing each other with love, and laughter with our roots firmly grounded in the gospel of Christ. Another proverb says “Every majestic oak tree was once a nut who stood his ground.” Well, we are a little nutty and a little stubborn which makes life that much more interesting...each of us is unique--some maybe a little more nutty and some of us, just a little more stubborn. |
