| Introduction | I am a fine art painter and children's book illustrator who has been fortunate to have been able to work in the art field her whole life. I particularly enjoy painting figurative works focusing primarily on the female form. My work is whimsical and bold stirring the imagination that draws the viewer much more easily into my world. I love color and continue to try to figure out unique color combinations that contribute to creating successful works. Both my illustrations and paintings are about telling a story and with that, I have been able to work for and been published by Scholastic, Random House, Kar-Ben, Spider Magazine, Leapfrog, and Grossett & Dunlap to name a few.
