| Introduction | My name is Andrés and I'm a home mechanic and cycling enthusiast. In my spare time I refurbish vintage bicycles and pass them on to new owners. Most of the bikes I fix up have been sitting in a garage, neglected for years. I do my best to breathe new life into them, servicing all the bearings, replacing all the consumables and then replacing or upgrading parts as needed. Occasionally, I also assemble a bike from scratch to someone's personal specifications. I don't make much money doing this, but I take great pleasure in making something useful and attractive out of something neglected and ugly. |
