Introduction	Hi, my name is Brandon Ruiz; I’m a Machado Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Black Belt under Jeff Kunze (Rigan Machado Black Belt) and I’m also an international level Greco-Roman wrestler. I was able to achieve my black belt in 2008 after only 5 ½ years of training in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. I was able to win multiple FILA Grappling World Championship medals and be part of two world championship teams (2008 & 2009 Team Champions). I have won medals at both the IBJJF Pan Am (Silver) and World Championships (Bronze) as a brown belt. I trained at the Olympic Training Center in Greco-Roman Wrestling where I was able to win All-American honors four times and win a Pan Am Championships medal. I wrestled collegiately at Brigham Young University (BYU). I’ve been around Wrestling since I was 15 years old; that was 18 years ago! I’ve actually been wrestling and grappling longer than a lot of you out there have been alive! I am a family man and athlete. I compete in Wrestling, Judo, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and Grappling.
