| Introduction | I am a new mom coming from a Russian background and raising my daughter in the US. Being a mama is great, but it certainly comes with its own challenges. For our family some of the challenges are combining parenthood with full-time work, raising our daughter bilingual, making it without having any family close by, and of course the funnest challenges of discovering step-by-step how to be a good parent. Our daughter, let’s call her Allie, like every toddler, is a handful… [of joy]. There is something new going on every day and finding ways to handle different situations inspired me to start this blog. I will share what works for our family in dealing with our toddler’s unexpected behaviors, how to get her to eat, to sleep, to take a bath…the list goes on. If at times I sound like I don’t know what I am talking about, it’s because I really don’t, I am just learning as I go and I hope you’ll join me for the journey! |
