About me

Gender Female
Occupation Retired
Location Wynnum West, Queensland, Australia
Introduction According to my Birth Certificate, I was born on Sunday, May 30th, 1948 at the Lady Weigall Hospital in the Riverland town of Barmera. Part of South Australia’s Orchard, Barmera is one of the oldest irrigation towns on the Murray. As a child growing up it would be fair to say that most of my leisure time with family and friends was spent at either the lake or the river. Mum tells me that for the most part I was a “happy”, “contented” and “undemanding” baby. Apparently, I spent a lot of time sleeping. I lived with my parents, three sisters and brother in Dickerson Street until I left home at the tender age of seventeen. I am married to Michael. We have three Children (Maxine, Glenn & Chris) and four Grandchildren (Jessica, Alex, Jack & Thomas) whose ages range from 20 years to 3 years. I retired from my Profession as a Librarian in 2005 and currently enjoy working two days a week at the Wynnum Manly Tourism & Visitor Information Centre.
