| Introduction | I am, always have been and always will be a foodie. I love eating food, cooking food, writing about food and taking pictures of food. So, here I am - FINALLY starting the blog that I have talked about F-O-R-E-V-E-R. It only took a 2,500 mile move to get this 'ish started... A little about me and then we can get to the good stuff. My dream is to be a food critic (Guy Fieri to be exact - yes, I'm pretty sure I would be a dude if it could be him). I grew up on Cape Cod - living there 25 years until just recently relocating to Salt Lake City for work. I told myself that this would be the perfect time to start my "infamous" food blog because there would be an endless amount of new restaurants to try. I went on to research all of the best restaurants in the area, first checking out those that have been on my all time favorite show "Diners Drive- ins and Dives", then reading up on the "Best of Utah 2012" and of course, talking to the locals. Everything is different here: I traded the ocean for the mountains, the humidity for the desert (my hair thanks me) and the best fried seafood for the finest fry sauce (which is definitely something I could get used to!) |
