| Introduction | The Footscray Anglican Parish is comprised of three Churches: St John the Evangelist in Paisley Street Footscray; St George the Martyr in Russell Street West Footscray; All Saints, in Ballarat Road North Footscray. The parish is a diverse one that has in the past and continues in the present to serve the needs of new arrivals to Australian shores - from colonial Celts to African refugees (and everything in between!). While dialects and diction, music and melody, customs and costumes may vary - we find a common language in sacrament, ritual and tradition and the desire to do all for the greater glory of God. |
