About me

Location Vancouver Island, Canada
Introduction Judy Hudson – Bio Judy grew up in downtown Toronto, then spent her high school years in St. Louis Missouri. Then back to Toronto where she studied costume design before moving to a log cabin in the Ottawa Valley. After one particularly bad snowstorm, she and her husband decided to head west and settled on balmy Vancouver Island. While living in the logging community of Honeymoon Bay, she studied photography at college and raised a family, working as a photographer and painter while finishing her degree in painting and photography at University of Victoria in 2000. After moving closer to civilization, she wrote the Fortune Bay series of romantic women’s fiction, basing the setting on her years in Honeymoon Bay, but setting the books across the Strait of Juan de Fuca in the Olympic Peninsula of Washington state. In 2020 she is launching the Rocky and Bernadette travel mystery series: Book 1 – Temple of the Jaguar, set in the Yucatan. • You can write Judy at Judy@JudithHudsonAuthor.com • or find out more about her books and her blog at www.JudithHudsonAuthor.com • or follow her on facebook at www.facebook.com/JudithHudsonAuthor/
