| Introduction | This is going to be a journey into the unknown for me! I am not a cyclist, haven't really ridden a bike in about 20 years, and never over any great distance! Suddenly I'm about to embark on a cycling 'holiday', covering up to 50 miles a day! And I haven't really done any training. With two weeks to go I have finally borrowed a bike and gone on a couple of 17 mile rides, and I'm feeling OK. But bits of my body may not feel so good when I start doing ~50 miles in day. We'll have to wait and see. this is all my old friend Ben's fault. He is a keen cyclist, and has cycled distances before. So the fun begins! |
