Introduction	I'm 34 years old and the mother of three wonderful children, and the step-mom of two wonderful children. I share all of this with the love of my life. I'm just the ordinary working mom, juggling life on life terms. Those terms for me happen to include a cancer gene, BRCA1, a bout with melanoma, two bouts with bladder cancer, and more recently, a diagnosis of early breast cancer. I wanted to blog about my journey through breast cancer, as it seems to be so much more scary than anything I've faced before. I know I'm not alone. I've survived a complete hysterectomy at the young age of 29 to save myself from the risk of developing Ovarian Cancer due to BRCA1. I survived two seperate rounds of chemo and lost my hair to save myself from an early-stage Bladder Cancer diagnosis. Now, I'm on another journey of survival. I will be losing my breasts to save myself from Breast Cancer.
