| Introduction | T Greg Doucette is a 2L at NC Central University School of Law in Durham, North Carolina. A former college dropout, Greg fought his way back into school after a 5-year absence and went on to earn a BS in Computer Science in 2009. From 2007-10 he energized the higher education community in North Carolina while serving as the Student Senate President of NC State and President of the statewide UNC Association of Student Governments: in addition to his appearances in television and print media, Greg's 2008-09 advocacy work led one columnist to brand him "the most consequential student in North Carolina" while his 2009-10 lobbying campaign was highlighted in Forbes Magazine. Those combined efforts saved students and their families $25.7M+ over two years. Greg is now the publisher-writer of the blog law:/dev/null, a chronicle of his law school experience that was ranked #4 in the 2009-10 ClearAdmit Best of Blogging Competition (including #1 best representation of academic life). Greg also serves as the Treasurer for his law school's Student Bar Association, a member of its TYLA 2L Trial Team, and is an internationally-known advocate for students and educational accessibility. |
