| Introduction | My wife, Ruthie, has been sewing, professionally, for almost 15 years now, and has a bunch of machines that need serviced often. One of Ruthie's friends suggested that I go into the sewing machine repair business. Wow, how do you do that? I was told about a sewing machine repair class put on by Ray White of "White Sewing Center". Ray has been in the Sewing Machine Repair business for over 50 years. He spends all of his time teaching classes now. I took his class in May, 2011 in Shipshawana, IN. Wow! what a great class. And that's how it all started for me. I have worked on a lot of machines in the last 7 years. Working at Purdue and still repairing machines doesn't allow much time for keeping up on this blog. |
