| Introduction | A job opportunity brought me to London. The move came shortly after a tragedy, though I didn't relocate to distance myself from that loss; it was just a coincidence, or perhaps a welcome opportunity to change my world. And how my world has changed. Broadened, certainly, by travel and being exposed to a different culture. But there's a lot more to it that's hard to articulate--you'll just have to read the blog! I began blogging in May 2008 as a way of keeping my family and friends in touch with how I was spending my time in London. Originally I signed a single-year contract; I am now here for more than three years and, well, I think I'll be staying a bit longer--I have recently married a wonderful British gentleman who gives me every reason to stay! I hope you'll enjoy reading about my experiences as much as I enjoy writing about them. |
