Introduction | I'm a 30 something year old married man, and proud father, originally from Hull in East Yorkshire. I work as a Train Driver, based at Peterborough. I am a member of the train drivers union ASLEF, and have held a number of elected posts within the union. I fundamentally believe that the UK needs a fresh approach to politics, involving an emphasis on organising within communities and localities. I am a member of the Labour Party, and I am of the view that it needs to become the party of choice rather than habit by building links between community groups, trade unions and neighbourhoods, and creating a momentum for the future. I want to play my part in this, by standing up for the interests of ordinary, hard working men and women, and the communities they build their lives in. I write about that which I believe in, and I believe in the material I write. Feel free to comment and reflect as you see fit! |
Interests | I am a Rugby League, Football, crime fiction/drama and comedy junkie, I sing, play the guitar, and I am addicted to most things political. I am currently writing my first attempt at a novel. |
