| Introduction | I am a 36 y/o mother of 2 beautiful girls, 17 and 10 years old. I have the most wonderful husband I could ask for. I am a very active person; well, I was. Prior to my diagnosis of POTS (Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome) in late '09 and mitochondrial disease in March '11, I was an avid runner and ER nurse. I ran multiple races including 2 half marathons. I had also just discovered that I enjoy hiking in the mountains as well. |
