Introduction	Rod Powell was a practicing attorney for over 40 years and currently lives in Urbandale, Iowa. During his career he was a Managing Attorney at Legal Services of Eastern Missouri in St. Louis, Missouri, and a U.S. Air Force JAG officer before that. He was in the private practice of law in the Des Moines, Iowa, area for about 30 years. He was licensed to practice law in the states of Iowa and Missouri,the U.S. Court of Military Appeals, various federal courts, and the U.S. Supreme Court. He has lectured legal professionals on various legal areas as part of the faculty of the National Business Institute. He was also an adjunct professor at Grand View University.
