Introduction	I live in the wonderful state of Maine, which is where I was born and raised. I went to Saint Joseph's College in Standish, Maine and earned a BS in Business. I currently work there in Admissions for their online program. I got married to my husband, Brian on Oct. 23, 1999. We share our home with 2 German shorthaired pointers, Tucker and Tess. At the age of 12, I was diagnosed with cystic fibrosis. I was very fortunate with my health until I turned 30. The past 3 years have been tough. In November of 2007, my Doctor brought up the idea of starting to prepare for a lung transplant. On March 17, 2010, I receive a double lung transplant at Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston, MA. I am now breathing deeply because of my wonderful donor and his/her family. I made it through all of this with the loving support of my husband, family and friends.
