| Introduction | I'm a tile and stone contractor in the Portland, Oregon area and have been working in the trades since 1984, but almost every member my family has been in the masonry and trowel trades for over 100 years. I also do research into international trade and regulatory issues impacting agriculture, am involved in land use issues in my little corner of Oregon, and am involved with the Hamlet of Mulino as the registrar, webmaster, etc. In my spare time, such as it is, I work on my small farm in Mulino, where I study animal behavior and interspecies communications, breed Lipizzan horses, and farm on a small scale.
