| Introduction | I've worked in children and young adult library services since 1986 and currently am the librarian for Willow Creek Composite High School (grades 7-12). Without a doubt, the favourite part of my job is sharing new books with my students and designing programmes and displays to encourage and promote a love of reading. I also run a weekly teen book club of enthusiastic readers who help me host monthly read and write-ins at our school. I was a first round judge for Cybils 2013 and 2014 in the Middle-Grade Realistic Fiction category and am on that same committee 2017. I am a member of Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators. |
