Introduction	Our first Airstream is a 1953 Clipper Airstream. It was our first restoration and was purchased by my grandfather in 1957 and then sold to my uncle in 1973. He offered to sell it to us in 2003. We replaced the floor by taking over 1000 rivets in order to "shell" it. Aside from that, the wood and most other things were in very good condition. More details later if people want to know. We are a homeschoolers of 5 children. My husband is an Auto Technician, while I suppliment our income as a self-employed entrepreneur.
