| Introduction | This blog gives a diary account of a coast-to-coast trip by bike across the U.S. from Boston to San Francisco in the summer of 2008. Since then I got back on my bike to follow the 'De Cuellar trail' in Sept-Dec 09. This journey took me from the coast of north west Ireland to the town of Cuellar in Castile, spain. I retraced the journey in search of a ship-wrecked soldier of the Spanish Armada of 1588 from where he came ashore in Ireland back to his hometown in Castile. Along the way I discovered more about his life and the world in which he lived. Now That the adventure has been completed I'm planning the next trek. Life's too short!!! |
| Interests | I'm a long-suffering Coventry City FC & Leitrim fan. I'm not too worried about winning trophies. Relegation is usually a bigger concern. If we just win a match I'm Happy. Go on the Sky Blues!! Liatroim Abu!! |
