| Introduction | Mum of three; a son aged 13, daughter 10 and a 9 month old son. My eldest two are from a previous relationship and their dad is, to put it politely, useless. He doesn't work or pay for his children and is unreliable about seeing them. He is 34 and able-bodied but has not worked for approx 14 years now and has claimed jobseekers allowance all that time. Grrr. I'm in a relationship with a man I have been with for 4 years now. He was diagnosed as infertile so we didn't take care and I fell pregnant with our son. We didn't live together and I was not over the moon but i'll blog more on that another time. My other half has twin girls aged six, conceived through IVF. He does weird shifts and has them every day he has off which works out about half the week. There are currently 7 of us living in a 3 bedroom house, so its very 'cosy'. I'm currently on Maternity leave but will soon return to work as a Housing Officer for the local Council. |
| Interests | Other people: I am pretty nosy! Love 'people watching' and blogs etc where I get to have a look at snapshots of other peoples lives. I like cooking; hate washing up afterwards though. Also, not really that good at it- good enough for my kids, but not for a dinner party. Love reading. |
| Favorite Movies | Funny ones. Nothing springs to mind at the minute. |
| Favorite Music | Cheesy 70's stuff. Love a disco track. I really like Kings of Leon, Killers and Fife Dangerfield at the moment. |
| Favorite Books | The Outlander series by Diana Gabaldon. Pretend to like literary books while secretly hankering after 80's chick lit like Judith Krantz & Danielle Steele. |
When you've got water stuck in your ear, how do you get it out?
I don't, I just complain about it loudly for the rest of the day until it eventually dries out of it's own accord.
