| Introduction | I started training dogs when I was 9 years old, and sent for a record featured on the Milk Bone Dog Biscuit box...it cost a whole quarter. I trained my dog and every dog in the neighborhood. And I cried when my next door neighbor abused his beautiful white German Sheperd. Eventually the dog had to be destroyed...not the dog's fault. Although I enjoy showing my own dogs, my greatest joy is in helping someone to understand and train their dog, so the dog keeps their home and doesn't end up at an animal shelter. My dogs would tell you that training is a way of life for us. I would tell you that dog training is not something I do...it's who I am. |
