| Introduction | It is not easy to talk about myself, but I will give it a go. I put tons of pressure on myseld to be as perfect as possible, but I put none on anyone else. I always seem to be apologizing for some imagined flaw in myself. My friends are very important to me and I am blessed to have many great ones. I take that word very seriously nd expect my friends to do the same. That seems to be about the only thing I require of them. I was taught that no job is worth doing if you are not going to do it right and I taught my children that. And my kids are amazing people. And their kids are just as amazing. Grandchildren are Gods reward for not killing your own when you had the chance. And thats about all there is to me, except that I sure seem to find a lot to Bitch & Gripe about. (And I bet I went over my 1200 characers.) |
| Interests | I'm interested in a lot of things; life, God, my family & friends, reading is a passion. I enjoy crafts, making bridal veils, and crocheting, but lately I have discovered adult coloring books, I am hooked. My granddaughter may never get the blanket she asked for! For most of my life, since my husband died, my Grandchildren are what keeps me going. |
| Favorite movies | They don't get much better than those old black & white "B" movies with Susan Heyward, Lana Turner and Bette Davis...especially on a cold rainy day. |
| Favorite music | All those moldy Oldies (music from the 50's, 60's & 70's), old rock (from the 70's), and Gospel...okay Elvis' gospel only |
| Favorite books | A Woman of Substance by Barbara Taylor Bradford,(Emma Harte is my HERO) The Texas, Vegas, & Kentucky Series by Laverle Spencer, The Sisterhood Series by Ferm Michaels, and anything else Fern writes. This woman is a genius and my hero! I also have read most of Danielle Steel's books.. I also have a passion for almost any biography or autobiography. |
The hair from your last haircut ... what would it say about your new style?
I'd wear a dress made of chocolate oatmeal cookies with a red licorice belt and on my head would be a yellow gumdrop hat.
