| Introduction | An Australian, living in the hills on the outskirts of Perth, Western Australia; married to Maryanne, a beautiful and talented lady; father of Melissa, also a beautiful and talented lady, married to a wonderful and talented gentleman, Jon Fitzgerald; once the Director of Ministry at Kolbe Catholic College, but no longer so; Member of St Francis Xavier Parish, Armadale; awarded a PhD by NDA (Fremantle) in 2010; and recently published "The Role of the Imagination in Adolescent Religious Conversion." In 2013, I attended the Third International Conference on Religion and Spirituality in Society held at the Arizona State University, in Tempe, Arizona and presented a paper on "The Use of Foucauldian Discourse Analysis to Evaluate the Effectiveness of Religious Education Pedagogy." The paper has been accepted for publication in The International Journal of Religion and Spirituality in Society, Volume 3, Issue 3. |

Currently, I am involved in research into the development of a social constructionist understanding of evangelisation. I hope to publish a book on this subject in 2017.
