| Introduction | "All our dreams can come true, if we have the courage to pursue them." -Walt Disney. I remember the first time I knew I wanted to pursue art as a life-long passion-- I was young, very young, barely a toddler. That feeling of drawing something on paper from your mind that others could relate to was powerful. From that point I spoke mostly through my art (I wasn't much of a talker growing up), and was known all throughout school as the "class artist." Yes, I was that kid who would stay inside during recess and draw my heart out! I never went to schooling for my art, it's just not my slice of pie...I prefer to learn from experience, paint what I feel, not what I'm taught. And through that experimentation I continue to grow as an artist each and every day. My career goal is to become an architect-- to me, buildings are a form of art--- art with a purpose. When I look at a house or restaurant filled with character, I don't just see bricks and cement, I see a story...creativity, thought, passion, and life! So, I hope you enjoy taking a look at my art, I put a lot of passion into each piece! |
