Introduction I have been a ham operator since 2019, and have been around electronics and radio pretty much my entire life. As a teenager I had a TV repair business and built many Heathkit projects. I finally got around to getting my ham radio ticket after thinking about it for 40 years. I passed the technician exam in July 2019, followed by the general and extra class exams in May 2020 and have been having a blast since. Today, I'm heavily involved in SOTA (Summits on the Air) and I'm President of the 285 Tech Connect Radio Club ( I'm also an active member of the ARRL, Denver Radio Club and Parker Radio Association.
