Introduction The goal is always better public transport. There are some great examples of excellent provision, but if we're serious about creating an environment where current non-users see the bus, train, tram or coach as a viable alternative to their current travel habits, we need operators, authorities and other stakeholders working towards one vision. Better public transport means more users, less congestion, less pollution! This blog is all about what I find out and about on public transport, from local estate buses to High-Speed European trains. I've worked for Bus Users UK and Passenger Focus. I'm currently a train driver. Hope you enjoy the blog-ride! You can also find me on Facebook (www.facebook.com/philtonks) & Twitter (@philtonks2)
