| Introduction | At the time of writing (March 2013) I am about to embark on a series of short pieces of music for individual performers or small groups, after an absence from composition of more than 8 years. This blog is meant, principally, to track that early development, back into the activity which I do best and which, for most of my life, has been my principal and most pressing activity. Music is a necessity for me and I have been composing it for more than 50 years. You'd think I'd know how to do it by now, wouldn't you? |
