| Introduction | I am an student who has just graduated early from high school. My next four months will be spent performing community service and studying culture in four different countries: New Zealand, Fiji, China, and Thailand. I have a deep love for travel, culture and community service. When I was 15 I left home during the summer for Tanzania, where I spent three weeks performing community service for a village in Arusha. I loved every minute when I was there. From that point on I knew I wanted to travel and perform community service. I have been involved in several local community service organizations and I have started a local dune restoration organization that is going strong to this day. I also love extreme sports and never miss an opportunity to try something new. Math and writing are my two favorite subjects and I will be studying them both while I am abroad. |
