Introduction	•While writing Touched upon issues related to Environment. •Raised the problems of health hazards. •Created awareness about issues related to water, air and noise pollution and toxics and gave suggestions for solving these issues. •Efforts have been appreciated by scientists, academicians and NGO's : •During research thought formulated and implemented new schemes for the benefit of people • During Ph D co-authored a DST project on effect of detergents and cosmetics on Indian women. Later worked extensively to lay down norms for detergent production in India. •Envisaged about the role of black tea polyphenols as cancer chemopreventive agents and the resulting benefit for Indians. •Honoured by Press club of Uttar pradesh in 2009 •Honoured by Nagrik Suraksha Sangathan, Lucknow for creating awareness against use of tobacco •Honoured by CIMAP for creative writing (in Hindi) •Honoured by Indian Scientific Writers Association
