| Introduction | I'm Nikola Ellis, mother of Ruby (and Eddie . I'm the owner/director of a small yoga studio in Mosman, NSW, called Adore Yoga. I have been practising yoga since 1991, studying in the UK, India and Australia with teachers including TKV Desikachar, Michael de Manincor, Mark Breadner, Ani Pema Chodron and Donna Farhi. Most of my teaching is now working on a one-to-one, therapeutic basis with students. Since having babies, my own yoga practice has developed a distinctively child-centred feel (along with everything else in my life) and on the days when I don't get to my yoga mat, I try to remember that every moment of my life is part of my practice. Yes, even the tantrums, runny noses and food fads! |
