| Introduction | Welcome to my blog of 'A Movie A Day'. I'm a nationally syndicated film critic and historian based in Austin, Texas. I'm also co-founder of Tripod Productions. My book 'A Movie A Day' was published by Berkeley Blvd., and my work has appeared in such publications as NY Times Magazine, Austin Monthly, Miami Herald, Cox News, Austin Chronicle, Filmfax and more. I love film - particularly classic films. I prefer Jerry Lewis and Buster Keaton to Adam Sandler and Ben Stiller. Hey, it takes all kinds. This blog will feature daily blogs on movies, history, random thoughts and more, along with links to sample the recommended movies on your computer.
