Introduction I made my living as a legal assistant before dedicating myself to writing full time. Beyond the Snows of the Andes and A Different Journey are my first two memoirs and are available on the Kindle and paperback. I also have two true short stories that should appeal to all bird and animal lovers, Jill and Mickey and Six Months of Wonderful. In addition, last year I published my first full fiction novel, "The Dark Path of Julie E. and I'm just published my second novel, "Sixty is Definitely not the New Forty," on the Kindle and will soon be available on paperback. In addition I'm starting a new novel which should be published by the Fall or Winter of this year. So you see, I'm starting 2014 in full production. The name is a surprise till I finish it but this new project is going to be very, very different from anything I've done before.
Interests Reading, writing, going to museums, and watching ballet performances either live or on television. I also love travelling with a passion because nothing makes me happier than discovering new places. The process is almost as creative as writing.
Favorite Movies I'm a huge movie fan and I love curling up at night with a good movie. I don't always agree with the critics and I choose what I want to watch. The last movie I saw at home was "Secretariat" and I enjoyed that very much. I like a good comedy but I'm more partial to true life stories and compelling dramas.
Favorite Music I love classical music and have a good collection. I also like some pop music, and why not say it? Lady Gaga's "A Bad Romance."
Favorite Books Angela's Ashes, Ana Karenina, Madame Bovary (which I still think was the most exquisite novel ever written) and many, many others which would be too long to list here since I am and have always been a voracious reader.
