| Introduction | Truth? I'm a 30 something single mother. I work, I play, I dance salsa and I have an incredible group of friends whom I will cook for and entertain anytime. I love to read, explore my inner child, decorate my house, keep up with my teenage son's sometimes ordinary and sometimes extraordinary life events and accomplishments, I love finding ways to deepen my personal relationships with friends and family, and I am discovering my limit and boundaries within those relationships. I push buttons and I want my buttons pushed. I like a challenge. I love people with backbone that demand a lot from me and I can demand a lot from them in return. Things I know to be true. Life is tough. There's no manual, no preordained course of action of how to "get it right" and there definitely is NOT a medal at the end of the day for a job well done. Add into the chaos, two young males minds that hang on everything I say and do and you've got a recipe for a choatic woman. I've been knocked on my petunia more than plenty, but I get up, dust off my rockin high heels, sweep my hair back into it's bun and go on about figuring it out in an assertively fabulously manner. |
