| Introduction | Karen retired from teaching Junior High English and Math in the spring of 2010. She has now headed to China to teach English classes in Xi'an for the next 10 months. She is an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (Mormons), and served a mission in the Ireland Dublin Mission in 1979-1980.
