| Favorite music | Great and loud rock: GREEN DAY, Oasis, The Offspring, New Found Glory, The Killers, The Talking Heads, a little David Bowie, All-American Rejects, The Ramones, Joan Jett, My Chemical Romance, The Clash, classic rock, good acoustic, and whatever moves me at the time. Usually either stuff that is loud and catchy, or stuff that is very heartfelt and says something. Lately I'm alternative/folk, so it's all about Ani Difranco, Tegan and Sara, Tori Amos, and some other acoustic stuff. |
| Favorite books | Anything MEDICAL,as well as Another day in the frontal lobe-Dr. Katrina Firlik, White Coat-Dr. Ellen Lerner-Rothman. I also selected works of Donne, Plath or Sexton, Another Mother Tongue by Judy Grahn, Broadened some horizons with some gender studies a la Kate Bornstein, Valencia by Michelle Tea. I like to read books by comedians, George Carlin, Chelsea Handler's My Horizontal Life and Are You There, Vodka, It's Me, Chelsea. Kathy Griffin's new book was good. Wishful Drinking from Carrie Fisher was good. |
