Introduction	As my main mentor, Martin Luther, has inferred, I live as a person with one vocation (calling) carried out in many stations. My calling, as is that of all people, is to serve God and neighbor. The main places I am called to do this are described: 1. I am a child: I was born of a Lutheran couple, active in Bethlehem Lutheran Church of Fergus Falls. They are now in their 80’s and are still deep in faith. 2. I am a husband: Married to the same woman since 1979, and still liking it! 3. I am a father of sophomores- one in college the other in high school. 4. I am a pastor: Ordained into the ministry of The Evangelical Lutheran Church in America, I presently serve the campus of Southwest Minnesota State University. 5. I am a musician (of sorts): If it has strings to bow or pluck, I’ll try it. 6. I am a goatherd and shepherd (of sorts): we live on a small acreage and it’s cheaper than mowing!
