| Introduction | I grew up in a family who loves to eat. Going to Grandmere's home was like going to the most wonderful restaurant, eating on the most fancy china. The simplest things were special, tuna salad on home made bread (not machine made) and wonderful molasses cookies were always present. The smells were always emanating and enticing. Once she passed on I took it upon myself to continue baking bread, ensuring all holiday meals were true banquets, and that my canning was done at the end of summer. I am a true home cook, I believe in using natural ingrediants, real butter, heavy cream, sugar, salt, and all that is organic and local. The key to my cooking is letting the ingrediants speak for themselves and having no fear in trying new things. |
