| Introduction | I think that many parents and grandparents hope that their kids and grandkids realize how precious life and all of its gifts are. There are going to be boulders along the path , but it is important to know what to live for, what makes you happy, what your "ikigai," or your reason to live, is. For me, life is food, friends and family. These things are what make me happy. I enjoy cooking, baking, brewing, talking about these things, and enjoying great food with friends.
