| Introduction | I Retired from full-time employment in Dec16. For the previous 18yrs I worked at ARM as Principal Staff Engineer. My work involved close relationships with the EU and UK Governments, Quangos, Institutions and Academic Research groups. I have been Honorary Visiting Professor at Liverpool, Plymouth and Bath Universities. I am a Chartered Engineer; Fellow of the IET and IMA; a Senior Member of the IEEE; and a former Member of Council of the IET. I was a frequent public speaker and sometime Consultant to UK Government and European Commission. I am an advocate of the UK Electronic Systems Community, and the recognition of the Engineering Profession. |
