Introduction	Super Nurse reporting for duty! My name is Kalissa Kramer, I'm an 18 year old from Northeast Iowa and I'm going to school to be a nurse! I attend Northeast Iowa Community College in Calmar, Iowa, a teeny tiny town about 10 minutes from where I grew up. Follow me on my journey through nursing school as I give study tips, nurse must haves, and other advice. I've worked as a CNA for two years in two separate local nursing homes and at a local community hospital for the past two years while I was in high school. On top of work and school I also began taking classes through NICC to get my pre-requisites to the nursing program done while in high school. I spent my senior year of high school on the waiting list and taking EMT classes. I ended up graduating early from high school and working full time in the nursing home. I started classes for my LPN August 2013 while working part time at three jobs and somehow finding time for my family, friends and boyfriend. I'm loving and hating every second of it. Isn't that the life of a nursing student?
