| Introduction | - I am a solid Liberal. - My political influences are Barack Obama, Sonia Sotomayor and Nancy Pelosi. - My political experience is limited to voting, but I would like to be more involved. - I am taking this class to gain knowledge/ a deeper understanding about how our nation is run, and to apply that knowledge to get involved in politics today. - I'm hoping to learn the structures and functions of the government, and how to transfer what I learn to current day situations. I'm also hoping to strengthen my political view by broadening it. - I got 8/10 right on the Civic Literacy quiz and 7/10 on the Current Events quiz. |
