| Introduction | Jamila Javadova-Spitzberg is internationally performing musician. Her concert venues include Countries of the former USSR, Western Europe including The Netherlands, Germany, England and the United States. In Europe, Dr. Javadova-Spitzberg has played on numerous historical instruments from the 17th, 18th and 19th centuries such as Arp Schnitger, Christian Müller, Aristide Cavaillé-Call and several noteworthy 20th century organs in the United States of America, among them the C. Fisk Organ at Southern Methodist University in Dallas, TX, “Great Organs of the First Congregational Church of Los Angeles, CA, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints of Santa-Monica, CA and Fritz Noak at Christ the King Lutheran Church in Houston, TX. From May of 2014 through June of 2015 she toured Azerbaijan, Turkey and the United States performing and accompanying well-known soprano from Turkey Oya Ergun. Javadova-Spitzberg signed a Contract with the Dutch label to record works of Azerbaijani composer Gara Garayev, which she hopes to release in the summer of 2016. She continues to play with various ensembles throughout the North Texas, as well as accompanies soloists and choirs. |
