| Introduction | I'm a PhD student in Biomedical Engineering and have worked in the Medical Device Industry for over 15 years. I know it is an oddity , but I have been pursuing the PhD part time. I have somewhat of a unique perspective from the ivory towers of academia combined with actual industry experience. I'd like to think I have a little business savvy, and I am interested in the business of engineering; specifically new product developments and managing product portfolios. I've been involved with a few medical device startups and a few successful medical device product launches. |
