| Introduction | Margaret earned her Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Houston and is not a native to Houston, but has lived here her whole life. Her experiences include having worked for non-profit organizations in Houston, as well as a massage therapist at a hospital in the Texas Medical Center. She also has experience as a volunteer for a local Alzheimer's organization. Through her work experience, volunteering, and acting as caregiver for her father, she has decided that working with older adults is what brings her the most joy. She plans to graduate in May 2009 with a Master's in Social Work. Her plans are to practice medical social work in a hospital and continue on towards becoming a geriatric care manager. |
