| Introduction | I have many interests ranging from spending time with my wife and young son through to reading about history from all sorts of places - Middle East, Europe, Australia. I read widely and have been known to have a few books on the go, all piling up next to the bed, much to the displeasure of my wife! We enjoy travel and have been to all states of Australia and overseas such as NZ, Singapore and Oman. |

| Favorite books | Where do I start...I've been told I have too many books but I feel you can't have enough. What am I reading now: 'Revolt in the Desert' by TE Lawrence (Lawrence of Arabia), 'The Prince of the Marshes' by Rory Stewart, 'Desert, Marsh and Mountain' by Wilfred Thesiger and Plague Ship by Clive Cussler (just to break up all the non-fiction reading!) |
