Introduction I am a retired Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod pastor, having been in the ministry for over 55 years. I received a Master of Divinity degree from Concordia Seminary in St. Louis, Missouri in 1965 and an honorary Doctor of Divinity degree from Concordia Theological Seminary in Fort Wayne, Indiana in 1998. I served congregations in Indiana, Michigan, New York City, St. Louis and Pittsburgh. I took an eleven year break from parish ministry and did talk radio at KFUO in St. Louis and WORD FM in Pittsburgh. I retired in 2010. I continue to serve as a part time pastor at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Wentzville, Missouri. My wife Dianne and I have been married 57 years. We have four children, eleven grandchildren ranging in ages from 3 to 27, and one great-grandchild.
